First Listen Review:Bayside - Killing Time
These guys may be my favorite band, but I went into this album with extreme caution.  Their last record, Shudder, was disappointing to a lot of their die hard fans as well as critics (it had a few really good songs, but it just didn’t impress people like their past records did).  Let me tell you that this record is exactly what Bayside fans want.  It takes their energy from the self-titled record and combines it with the great song writing of The Walking Wounded.  This is a solid alternative rock record that no one should pass over without giving it a listen.  If you’re into catchy rock that isn’t entirely radio friendly, pick this up.  I love these guys, and this record is amazing.  Wind-Up Records didn’t make the band change their sound at all, and if you liked Bayside in the past, you’ll love this record.  Pick it up on February 22nd.

People didn’t like Shudder? I LOVED Shudder. And a lot of other people I know loved it, too. It didn’t sound much...
